Ringing Bells, a name which has become famous overnight for making the cheapest 3G smartphone at an unbelievable price of Rs 251. Well, not only in India, but that (price) would make it world’s cheapest smartphone! They named the smartphone as Freedom 251. The little known Ringing Bells Pvt. Ltd. is a company headed by Mohit Goel based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
Taking the technology world by a surprise, Freedom 251 is said to offer decent features present in a smartphone at an highly affordable price but as per Indian cellular association the phone with such specifications must cost around at-least Rs 3500. Moreover, its manufacturing cost is estimated to be about 2500 even then its selling price is 251.. another strange fact to it! Freedom 251’s launch has initiated a strong debate worldwide.
The website, www.freedom251.com, especially made for the selling purpose of Freedom 251 has already crashed with the hoards of orders coming up for it. From a customer’s viewpoint, we bring to you some of the important facts you need to know about Freedom 251…
Freedom 251 has Android Lollipop 5.1 Operating System.
A 3.2 MP rear camera and 0.3 MP front camera will be provided in this budget smartphone.
The screen size is expected to be 4 inches.
It will have 8 GB internal memory with expandable memory upto 32 GB with micro-SD card.
It comes with one year warranty and Ringing Bells offers 650 service centres across the country.
In addition to its much-hyped 251 price tag, an extra Rs 40 is to be paid as its shipping charges.
Its pre-bookings began on 18 Feb 2016 at 6 am.There is a point to be noted before you plan to book for this phone that the delivery has some restricted addresses and will take up to 4 months time.
It is said to offer the best network coverage in the given range and supports 3G network.
It will be pre-loaded with Google Play store and WhatsApp. Also, it is said to be loaded with other recently launched govt. apps, one of them being – Swachch Bharat app.
Launched on 17 Feb 2016, the launch event took place in presence of BJP MP Murli Manohar Joshi in New Delhi.
In good humour, I would say now parents don’t have to worry about their younger ones asking for a smartphone. Instead, it is available at a pocket-money price! You would have often heard people saying “aj kal, 100 rupay me kya ata hai, iski koi value nhi” I don’t know about Rs 100 but Rs 251 me smartphone zarur aa sakta hai (In Rs.251 you can certainly get a smartphone)….:D

With thriving competition in the Indian market and to maintain its apex position of the largest car manufacturer in India, Maruti Suzuki India came up with a concept called NEXA.
NEXA retail outlets are initiated by Maruti to sell its premium segment cars and to give its customers an experience of luxury and exclusivity. Its philosophy is about listening to its customers, understanding and respecting their needs. The vision behind this initiative is to consolidate Maruti’s position as the premium car maker. Going ahead with the philosophy and to enrich the experience of its customers, Maruti Suzuki has announced some innovative technology in this year’s Auto Expo. Models (concept Ignis and Baleno RS) are integrated with this technology and will be available in the last quarter of the year. Some of the features which I personally liked are:-
Apple CarPlay extends the iPhone’s interface to the car’s multimedia screen, enabling easy access to features like the phone’s call list, music library and Apple’s voice assistant Siri.
Using Siri’s voice-based access, the driver can use voice commands to make calls, review and return missed calls and listen to voicemails. The system will also work with other smartphone platforms like Android and Windows.

Ford Mustang GT
The energy at the Ford pavilion was incredible and all the credit should be given to its all new Ford Mustang GT. After years of waiting, finally, Mustang makes it to India and the people were going crazy.
Here is the video that shows how Ford Mustang has evolved over the years and it still rules the market in terms of design and its classic look – truly an icon!
The wait is over for all those off road lovers, who have been waiting for an extra muscular off road machine. Jeep, finally arrives in India with a number of offerings but my personal favourite remains – Jeep Wrangler. It’s uncompromising off road capabilities and impressive on road handling, makes it a perfect companion for your off road trips and adventure.
The medium sized compact SUV market is becoming really competitive. Every brand is coming up with impressive offerings to have a share in this new segment. On the same lines, Maruti Suzuki India has announced Vitatra Brezza at the Auto Expo this year.

I went on this trip to –Darjeeling– toexplore the incredible north-east and would love to share my experience with you all!
Darjeeling is a town in West Bengal and is famous for three things- its Tea Gardens, Kangchenjunga mountain view and; monastries and temples. Apart from being an amazing hill station, it also offers being the centre-place to view all the other higher peaks of Mount Everest and Himalayas.I started my trip by boarding a flight from Delhi to Bagdogra in West Bengal as it is the only airport nearest to Darjeeling. On reaching Bagdogra, you can hire a car to reach Darjeeling as it is only about 2-3 hours away by road. Here I’m sharing with you all what I explored in this incredible city! This post will help you to know about the famous places to visit in Darjeeling.
Sunrise at Tiger Hill
It was the Christmas morning which greeted me with the rising sun in the lap of Tiger Hill! I have saved this day in my memory and will never be able to forget it. I didn’t know this trip is going to give me such an unforgettable experience.
I began my day with the view of the rising sun at Tiger Hill, Darjeeling. It must be around 4:30 in the morning and the temperature was as low as -2 degrees accompanied by chilly winds. The sky was like a painter’s plate with colours from shades of blue, purple, black to deep orange and pinks. It was damn cold. After a point of time I wasn’t able to feel my hands and my feet. And I was standing there in the hope to catch the glimpse of the rising sun as Tiger Hill is famous for its beautiful view of sunrise. And that makes it the most famous tourist place! People reach there as early as 4 am in the morning, to occupy the best place for the view. At 6:15, I saw a red ball of fire emerging from the layers of the sky. It was stunning, amazing, startling, fantabulous, just out of this world… actually words seem to fall short for it. As it continued to grow bigger in size and brighter, it brought a smile on everyone’s face.
It tops my list of places to visit in Darjeeling!
Aswesay: You just can’t afford to miss this place when in Darjeeling!
Also, catch the sight of Mount Everest and Kanchenjunga together from Tiger hill.
This is the Samten Choling Monastery, generally referred to as Ghoom monastry but the one is the Yiga Choeling monastry which is about 1km away from the latter. While coming back from Tiger Hill in the morning, this monastry comes in the way. So, its convenient to visit it after Tiger Hill.
Samten Choling Gompa has the largest Buddha statue in West Bengal, a memorial dedicated to German mystic Lama Govinda.
Batasia Loop is nearby to the Samten choling monastery. This is a small point made by the local people, from where you can catch the sight of the famous “Three Sisters peak”.
Tea Gardens in Darjeeling
Along with admiring the beauty of the tea gardens, you can also enjoy an exotic cup of tea there. You can find small markets around who sell different types of tea – green tea, white tea, black tea and other types of specialties.Tea market is one of the biggest source of income for the locals.
Japanese Temple in Darjeeling
There is a traditional Japanese Temple in Darjeeling also named as Nipponzan Myohoji Budhist temple. All the rituals are performed in the Japanese way so you can experience different religious customs altogether.
Peace Pagoda in Darjeeling
Peace Pagoda, a Buddhist stupa, was basically built to inspire, encourage and bring all the people belonging to different castes and creed to unite them in the search of world peace. It stands as a sacred symbol of peace and harmony.
Peace pagodas were built under the guidance of Nichidatsu Fujii, who was a Japanese Buddhist monk. He was also a close associate of Mahatma Gandhi. The tragedy of Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings left him in great despair and following this setback he pledged to teach the world about the importance of peace, good-will and harmony in life. There are around 80 peace pagodas all over the world in Europe, Asia and United States.
The Japanese peace pagoda in Darjeeling has statues depicting various activities of Buddha.
Darjeeling Himalayan Railway
It is the highest railway station in India and also famously known by the name of Toy Train. Being situated at about 7000 feet, it also listed as the Mountain railways of India in the World Heritage Site. It operates on a narrow track and takes you through the mountains which makes for a simply breathtaking view! This toy train ride will cover some amazing slopes and curves which seems almost impossible to be travelled through train. It has specific timings and a decent fare which you can check for when you go there.
Darjeeling is also known as the Queen of Hills. Its usually suggested to visit Darjeeling during the months of April-June. But I went during December and even in the month of December, each day was sunny, warm and very comfortable. But the nights are damn cold. So, you must keep heavy woolens and jackets for a winter visit. The mountain peaks were covered with snow and in evening you can take a walk down the road with cool breeze. The temperatures can be very low during winter season but experiencing the chilly winters has its own charm. So, if you plan a trip to Darjeeling then do include the places mentioned in your list so that you don’t miss out on anything. And I hope you will also have an awesome experience as I had!
